ALBANY INTERNATIONAL CORP. SELECTS IMC HEALTHCARE
TO MANAGE THREE ON-SITE HEALTH CENTERS
JACKSONVILLE, Fla., May 21, 2007 — IMC HealthCare, a national health care company that specializes in designing, staffing and managing corporate sponsored on-site health and wellness centers, today announced it has been selected by Albany International Corp. to operate three of the company’s on-site employee health care centers located in Rensselaer and Albany, NY and in St. Stephen, South Carolina.
As part of the agreement, IMC HealthCare will begin operating the three centers during second quarter 2007, with on-site health care services being offered for the first time at the St. Stephen facility. The on-site health centers will provide occupational health services (treatment of minor work-related injuries, case management, some preventative/wellness care) and urgent care services (treatment of minor illnesses) to 480 employees in the Rensselaer and Albany, NY facilities and 300 employees in the St. Stephen location.
Albany International’s on-site health care facilities will be staffed and managed by IMC HealthCare’s medical professionals, including a supervising physician, a mid-level practitioner (a physician’s assistant or nurse practitioner), and an occupational care nurse. Each on-site health care center will operate full-time, 40 hours a week, with the supervising physician available part-time at each location.
“We are honored that Albany International has chosen us to operate several of its on-site health care facilities and are pleased to be bringing these services to the St. Stephen location for the
