Otto Campo

Executive Chairman

Otto CampoOtto Campo is an experienced executive in healthcare services, specifically in the Medicare Advantage sector. Additionally, Otto has broad experience in global risk contracting, correctional healthcare, home healthcare and hospitalist groups. Otto serves as an Executive Partner for Comvest, and is part of the investment health care group. 

Prior to joining Comvest, Otto served as President and a shareholder of MCCI Group Holdings, a $1.5 billion global risk provider to large health plans throughout the United States. He was an executive and strategic advisor to Armor Correctional Healthcare, Atenda Home Health and Florida Acute Care Services. He currently serves as the Chairman of AxisPoint Health, a care management services provider to over 95 health plans across 24 states. 

Otto is also Chairman of D & S Community Services, a provider to the intellectually disabled population. He began his career at KPMG after earning his B.A. in Accounting and M.B.A. Summa Cum Laude from the University of Miami.

Justo L. Pozo

Board of Managers

Justo Luis PozoJusto Pozo serves on the Board of Managers for IMC Health and advises the organization with its long term strategic plan and aquisitions. 

Mr. Pozo was Co-Founder and President of Preferred Care Partners, Inc., one of the largest privately-owned Healthcare Maintenance Organization’s (HMO) in Florida until May of 2012 when Preferred Care Partners was acquired by United Healthcare Services, Inc.  Under Mr. Pozo’s leadership, Preferred Care Partners distinguished itself as one of the premier health maintenance organizations in Florida, with annual revenues in excess of $700 million.  Mr. Pozo implemented the organization’s vision, mission and overall direction, making Preferred Care Partners, Inc., South Florida’s fastest growing private company in 2003.  With its acquisition in 2005 of Neighborhood Health Partnerships Medicare business and further expansion into 15 Florida markets, the company became the largest privately-owned Medicare Advantage and Medicaid plans in Florida.

Mr. Pozo currently serves on several public, private and non-profit boards.  In March of 2015, he was appointed to the Florida International University Board of Trustees by the Florida Board of Governors. 

Mr. Pozo has received numerous awards including a Distinguished Service Medallion and induction into the College of Business Entrepreneurial Hall of Fame from FIU; recognition by the South Florida Business Journal Excellence in Health Care Awards; induction into the Miami-Dade College Hall of Fame; and the Torch Award for Distinguished Alumnus from FIU.

Mr. Pozo is also a founder of the FIU College of Medicine and a Living Scholar Athlete Program Donor.

He holds a business degree in accounting from the Florida International University and is a Board Certified Public Accountant in the State of Florida.  Mr. Pozo is President of the Okinawa Goju-Ryu Karatedo International (O.G.K.I.) and holds a fourth-degree black belt in Okinawan Goju-Ryu Karate.

Kevin Wirges

Chief Financial Officer

Kevin WirgesMr. Wirges is currently the Chief Financial Officer of IMC Health. He is responsible for all aspects of accounting, finance, analytics and planning to ensure the company success in achieving its long-term strategy.

Prior to joining the IMC Health executive team, Mr. Wirges was the Regional Vice-President of Finance for Anthem, Inc., one of the largest health benefits companies in the United States. He was responsible for Anthem's Medicare business in the East Region, managing $2.6 billion in annual revenue and over 450,000 members in nine states where Anthem offers Medicare Advantage, Medicare Supplemental and Prescription Drug Plans. He joined Anthem's leadership team in 2015 after the acquisition of Simply Healthcare Plans, Inc., one of Florida’s largest privately-owned Healthcare Maintenance Organizations (HMO) at the time, with revenues in excess of $1 billion.

Mr. Wirges started with Simply from the company's early years, joining the management team in 2010 as the Controller. In 2012, he was promoted to Vice-President of Finance and was responsible for the company's financial stability and growth. He worked closely with Florida's Agency for Health Care Administration (AHCA) during rate setting sessions and was part of Simply's procurement team during the implementation of Statewide Medicaid Managed Care (SMMC) Managed Medical Assistance (MMA), in which Simply, and its affiliate Better Health, LLC, were awarded contracts. Mr. Wirges also assisted in the launch of Simply's Medicare Advantage program in 2012, which now serves over 40,000 members in eight counties across Florida.

Mr. Wirges holds a business degree in accounting from the University of Central Arkansas. He is an Eagle Scout and a veteran of the United States Marine Corps Reserve.

Efrain Monzon

Chief Marketing Officer

Efrain A. MonzonAs Chief Marketing Officer, Mr. Monzon leads IMC’s solution development and strategic marketing initiatives, including enterprise marketing, industry marketing, lead generation and customer and brand experience. A veteran business and marketing executive, he has developed key community partnerships as part of his health solutions strategy.

As former Director of Medicare Marketing and Provider Engagement at Florida Blue, Mr. Monzon lead the execution of state-wide marketing initiatives and sales channel support to include Provider Engagement, Community outreach, and membership growth initiatives. Prior to his promotion, he served several key roles in the South Florida market including Center Director for Miami Retail, oversight of the CliniSanitas relationships, and supported implementation of the Retail 2.0 project. He also partnered with South Florida Local Presence to develop and maintain key relationships which included service on the boards of YMCA South Dade (Finance Chair and the Jewish Community Center).

Before joining Blue Cross Blue Shield of Florida in 2013, Mr. Monzon was the co-founder and Chief Marketing Officer for the Pulmonary Center, an organization focusing on early detection of COPD. While there, he oversaw business development, marketing initiatives and branding. The company’s key deliverable was to provide COPD testing to health-plans focusing on improving their HEDIS/STAR measures.

A native of Miami, Florida Mr. Monzon has spent over 18 years in the healthcare industry. He holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management from Nova Southeastern University and a State of Florida Life, Health & Annuities Insurance License. He is also co-chair of the West Kendall Baptist Hospital Advisory Board.

Mayda Antun M.D.

Chief Medical Officer

Dr AntunDr. Antun brings almost three decades of experience as a physician executive and clinical operations leader in local and national managed care companies and provider organizations to her role as Chief Medical Officer of IMC Health, as well as a broad-based understanding of health care systems and expertise in the development of chronic care programs, performance management, service improvement and strategic planning.

Prior to joining IMC Health, Dr. Antun was the Medical Director, Network Performance and Utilization Management, for Baptist Health Quality Network, part of Baptist Health South Florida.  She designed clinical initiatives, including care management, to assist the organization in achieving improvement in quality metrics. 

Dr. Antun held several leadership roles at Humana.  She was the CEO for CAC-Florida Medical Centers, a multi-specialty medical group focused on senior care, where she established heart failure and diabetes programs and clinics, and achieved specific goals for these patient populations. Under her direction, CAC received recognition in the Diabetes Physician Recognition Program by the National Committee for Quality Assurance and the American Diabetes Association. 

She has also served as VP, Medical Operations for Concentra Primary Care (now Partners in Primary Care) with oversight of physicians in 25 centers in four states, Vice President and Chief Medical Officer for CarePlus Health Plans, and EVP, Medical Operations for United Healthcare of FL. She started her career as a primary care physician at CAC Medical Centers and later held various medical executive roles.

Dr. Antun received her Medical Degree summa cum laude from Instituto Tecnologico de Santo Domingo, and completed an Internal Medicine residency at Nassau County Medical Center, an affiliate of the State University of New York, and a one-year fellowship in Endocrinology and Metabolism at Stony Brook University Hospital.  She holds an MBA with a specialization in health care from the University of Miami.  She also has a Certificate in Population Health sponsored by the Jefferson College of Population Health at Thomas Jefferson University in Philadelphia.  In 2010, she was honored by her medical school as a Distinguished Alumnus.

Richard Diaz

Vice President of I.T.

Richard DiazMr. Diaz brings 30 years of experience in the healthcare industry to his role at IMC Health Medical Centers, including emergency care, renal care, laboratory, clinical operations, home care and many more aspects of the patient experience. He comes to IMC Health after six and one-half years as Applications Manager at HealthSun/Wellmax, where he was in charge of software and headed up the project of automating their entire EMR system. During his time at HealthSun/Wellmax, the company acquired Pasteur Medical and he successfully led the transition/incorporation.

Previously, Mr. Diaz served for seven years as IT Director at United Homecare, a spin-off of the non-profit United Way. While there, he revamped all systems, including scheduling and billing in the process of moving the company from a paper-driven process.

Mr. Diaz also was in charge of IT for DeVita Laboratories, the leading provider of renal care in the US, and for Infinet, a Medical Emergency Room staffing company.

He holds degrees in both Computer Science and Business Administration from Miami-Dade College, and is a veteran of the US Marine Corps. Mr. Diaz is married with five children. Mr. Diaz sees his role at IMC as keeping up to date with technology, government regulations and systems compliance, in addition to maximizing revenue and efficiency. His ultimate goal is patient care - creating and implementing the systems that support IMC Health physicians in providing the best care.
