
IMC Health ACCESS Centers – Apply, Recertify and/or verify for Medicaid benefits
IMC Health partners with the Department of Children and Families (DCF) to provide low-income individuals and families in our community with access to healthcare through the Medicaid program. Our Medical Center staff can help you apply for eligibility, recertify and/or verify your Medicaid benefits through ACCESS Florida at our Medical Center locations.
Who is Eligible for Medicaid?
An individual must meet specific eligibility requirements in order to receive Medicaid. An individual may be eligible for full or limited benefits based on those requirements. This program provides benefits to three basic groups:
- Supplemental Security Income (SSI) recipients
- Children and Families
- Aged, Blind and Disabled people, including those needing institutional care
What Benefits Are Available?
You may be eligible for full benefits or limited medical assistance benefits, depending on your financial situation. Your ACCESS Florida representative will be able to provide details on the benefits you and your family are entitled to receive once eligibility is determined.
In addition, you may be eligible for the following programs:
- Food Assistance Program - Helps individuals and families purchase nutritious food necessary for good health.
- Temporary Cash Assistance Program – Provides financial assistance to pregnant women in their third trimester and families with dependent children to assist in payment of the rent, utilities and other household expenses.
