What to Expect
After you’ve scheduled your Telehealth appointment, check your email for a confirmation. If you don’t see it in your inbox, check your Spam or Junk folder. Still don’t see it? Call us back at (786) 254-0544 to have us re-send your invite. Then take a look at this handy checklist to make sure you’re ready for your appointment.
Before Your First Appointment
If this is your first Telehealth appointment at IMC, complete a test run to make sure you won’t have any problems connecting when the time comes.
Arriving for Your Appointment (Virtually, of course)
About an hour before your appointment we’ll send you a reminder with an invite link. We ask that you click on that link and check in 5-10 minutes before your appointment. Then, just accept the Terms & Conditions and you’ll be ready to start as soon as your doctor or other medical staff arrives. If you’re using your phone or tablet, make sure it’s charged at least 50%. We’ll see you soon.
Online Security
We take your privacy seriously, so our Telehealth platform is protected. But there are some things you can do at home to help ensure your privacy for all your online interactions.

Be prepared for your next Telemedicine visit by recording your blood pressure:
- Keep a log with the date, time, and blood pressure readings so that you may discuss with your doctor.
- Take your blood pressure the morning before your Telemedicine appointment with your primary care provider. Your primary care provider will ask you about your blood pressure reading.
