The Receptionist must be bi-lingual in English and Spanish and is responsible for providing outstanding customer service and scheduling patients medical appointments.

Position Hours: Monday through Friday 8am-5pm

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Answers incoming calls in a courteous & professional manner
  • Schedules appointments by telephone and confirm all patient appointments on schedule including transportation
  • Screens incoming calls and routes accordingly
  • Receives and conveys messages electronically, in writing and verbally
  • Schedule appointments according to office scheduling policies
  • Interact effectively with staff and patients in order to maintain a professional working environment
  • Participates in staff & educational meetings
  • Maintain a cheerful, positive and respectful attitude
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications/Experience:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required
  • Minimum of 1-year experience in the medical setting or call center
  • Must have the ability to learn and practice office procedures, policies and protocols
  • Required to have a command of the English and Spanish language and be proficient with grammar, spelling and verbal skills to communicate with patients, providers and staff in written and oral communication
  • Must be proficient be proficient in Microsoft Office and knowledge with computers, scanners, etc.
  • Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills
