What are the medical center hours of operation?
Our medical centers are open from 8 am – 5 pm Monday through Friday. For after-hours access, please call your IMC Health / Medical Center for non-emergency medical needs that occur on the weekend, at night or on a holiday, and our answering service will forward your message to the physician on-call who will call you as quickly as possible. For life-threatening emergencies, please call 911.
Do you offer same-day appointments?
Though we recommend setting up an appointment for a Medical Center visit, we accept walk-ins. If you are not feeling well, just give your nearest IMC Health / Medical Center a call and we will do everything we can to meet your needs. If you require IMC Health / Diagnostic Center services, please contact your primary care doctor to schedule your appointment.
What do I do if I need to schedule or change an appointment?
To schedule or change an appointment, just call your local IMC Health / Medical Center where you receive your care. One of our team staff members will assist you.
What do I need to bring to my first appointment?
Please bring the following to your first appointment:
- Your insurance card and valid photo ID
- All of the prescription and over-the-counter medicines that you are taking. Be sure to bring the bottle so your care team can get a complete understanding of all of your current medications.
- It would be very helpful to have medical records from your most recent primary care physician and specialist physicians.
- Please be ready to share with your doctor about any Health problems that you may be having.
- If you need assistance with driving or have issues with hearing or vision, please bring a companion with you who can help with understanding and remembering your doctor’s instructions.
Does IMC Health offer dental, vision, podiatry and massage therapy services?
Yes. IMC Health provides dental, vision, podiatry and message therapy services at most of our Medical Center locations. Please check with the Medical Center nearest you for dental, vision, podiatry and massage therapy services availability.
Who do I call if I get sick on the weekend, at night or on a holiday?

Can I participate in IMC Health / Community Healthy Living Center events even when I’m not visiting my doctor?
Yes. We encourage you and your family to participate in our IMC Health / Community Healthy Living Center events whenever you like. Each Community Healthy Living Center has a calendar of monthly events specific to that location.
Who do I call if I have billing questions?
Please call your IMC Health / Medical Center where you receive care. The IMC Health team there will help answer your billing questions.
What is an “IMC Health patient centered medical home”?
An IMC Health patient centered medical home is a team-based Health care delivery approach led by an IMC Health physician that provides comprehensive and continuous medical care to patients and their families to maximize Health outcomes and quality of life.
